Abstract

The objective of the research was the evaluation of four tomato hybrids under a protected cultivation system. A randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used, with four treatments and four repetitions for each tomato hybrid. The results of this investigation showed that the Miramar hybrid was the earliest for flowering and fruiting, it presented the lowest value at 23 days. In the days to flowering and fruiting, the Acerado HA3059 hybrid was the latest, registering the highest value with 25.75 days and in relation to the Pietro hybrid that registered more early fruiting with 34.25 days. But in the days to harvest the latest was Margo with 73 days. The hybrid Acerado HA3059 needed the accumulation of 546.18 degree days and in fruiting 79 ° degree days and the harvest with the hybrid Margo registered 1498.92 degree days of accumulation, while, in the agronomic variables, plant height, diameter of the stem, number of floral clusters, flowers per cluster, secondary flowers per cluster, fruits per cluster, non-commercial per cluster, fruit diameter (cm) and average fruit weight (g) did not report statistical differences.
