Abstract

Potato cultivation is a strategic food for food security due to its high nutritional content and easily digestible source, free of fat, with minimum values of soluble sugars, compared to other sources rich in starch, it contributes few calories to the diet. The yield in the U.S.A. is 46444 kg ha-1, Argentina of 29255 kg ha-1, for Chile 23793 kg ha-1, for Brazil 18399 kg ha-1 and for Bolivia 5457 kg ha-1. The objective of the research was to determine the yield of potato varieties Huaycha and Imilla Negra with the application of black soil and inorganic fertilizers. The work was developed in the Cota Cota Experimental Center, Faculty of Agronomy of the Major San Andrés University, the trial was conducted with a design of divided plots with main parcels in random blocks with three repetitions, the results show that the emergence of the two potato varieties planted with certified seed were 97% and 98%. In average yield reported with the variety Huaycha was 12790 kg ha-1 and for the Imilla Negra variety it was 9520 kg ha-1. With the application of black earth (250 m3 ha-1) + 160-0-80 (NPK) an average of 15160 kg ha-1 was obtained, with 160-0-80 (NPK) a yield of 8880 kg was obtained. 1 and with 80-0-40 (NPK) was 9430 kg ha-1. The obtained yields are higher than the national average, but they are low in comparison with the results obtained in neighboring countries.
