Abstract

Organic fertilizers, such as manures, constitute an alternative to sustainable soil management, in areas such as the Bolivian highlands in general and quinoa production in particular, however, it is necessary to have information on the capacity of This fertilizer to provide nitrogen to the soil and therefore to the plants. The objective of the present work was to determine the influence of the dose of sheep manure and of a bio-fuel (Terrabiosa), in the generation of mineral nitrogen, over time. The statistical design applied was completely randomized. There were two factors. Factor A, consisting of doses of manure applied to the soil in amounts of 0, 10 and 20 ton ha-1 and factor B, consisting of the presence and absence of a bio-fuel (Terrabisosa). Each treatment with three replicates, making a total of 18 experimental units. The mineral nitrogen evaluation was performed at 1, 15, 22, 51, 64, 80, 99, and 125 days after incubation. The results show that biofuel in isolated form has no effect on the mineralization of nitrogen as ammonium, while it did influence the mineralization of nitrate and mineral nitrogen. The mineral nitrogen produced after 125 days, was twice under the application of biofuel associated with sheep manure.
